Application Process

Application Requirements

Applicants must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) from an American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) accredited college/school of pharmacy. The applicant must also be eligible for licensure in the state of Arkansas.

Applicants must submit the following documents via PhORCAS by January 1:

  • Letter of intent
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Three (3) letters of recommendation
  • Official transcript from pharmacy school

UAMS Medical Center participates in the ASHP Match. Completed applications should be uploaded to PhorCAS by January 1. A personal interview is highly recommended of all applicants. UAMS Medical Center is a drug free work environment, and employees are required to complete a pre-employment drug screening.

PLEASE NOTE: There are no supplemental materials to attach to the PhORCAS application.
